‘Delete this season already’: Madridistas lament as 2 key players suffer injury before El Clasico
Real Madrid have just beaten Getafe 1-0 to slash the gap on Barcelona down to 4 points. But that win came at a cost.
Madrid ended up losing two of their key players to injuries.
“[Eduardo] Camavinga and [David] Alaba have two muscle problems. It will be difficult for them to recover for Saturday’s game,” Carlo Ancelotti confirmed.
“Fran García is our only option at left back to face Barcelona,” the Italian coach adds.
Camavinga came on at half-time to replace the injured Alaba, but he also got injured before the game finished.
Real Madrid are facing Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday night, without some of their key players.
Ferland Mendy is also injured for the Whites, besides Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, who are out with knee injuries for the rest of the season.
Madrid fans are disgusted by the bad luck facing the team in terms of the fitness of the group.
“So the only available LB player for Saturday is Garcia?? We are cooked,” one fan tweeted.
“Why bother show up against Barcelona?”
