This is the horrific moment an aggressive marabou attacked a defenceless flamingo, ripping the bird out of the water and tearing it to shreds in Kenya.
The shocking scene was captured at Lake Bogoria in Kenya where the large marabou stork was spotted preying on the tiny pink flamingo.

Photographer Ingo Gerlach witnessed the devastating scene, describing how the flamingo appeared to be suffering from some sort of illness and had been targeted by the predatory stork.
