Real Madrid have reportedly decided to pay Dean Huijsen’s full £50 million release clause after Bournemouth refused to negotiate. ESPN say Madrid tried to include players in the deal, but their offer was rejected.
According to ESPN, Madrid will now pay the full £50 million release clause for the 20-year-old defender, who has impressed in the Premier League this season.

Madrid identified Huijsen as a top target after their defeat to Barcelona and quickly pushed forward once it became clear Bournemouth would not negotiate.

The Spanish international had interest from other Premier League clubs but has agreed to join Madrid once the deal is finalised.
