There is no greater legacy than leaving the world a little better than it was before we arrived. Seeing an innocent animal suffering inspires hundreds of people to become rescuers of innocent beings who are homeless or treated with contempt.
The furry creature named Halo lay curled up on the forest floor . Her gaze was completely blank, indicating she was blind . She was also starving. Fortunately, the goodwill of this group of men and women allowed Halo to have a new lease on life.
Halo was truly in a deplorable state, however, with a little strict care , lots of love, affection and, of course, a few McDonald’s ice cream cones, the little dog rose from the ashes and began to show herself as she really is .
One of the volunteers tried to cheer her up with some food so she could stand up on her own and leave the place on her own. The moment she stood up, they realized why she was so weak: Halo was just skin and bones .
As if by some miracle, Halo began to make slow, steady progress and recovery, with every opportunity to return to a normal life. She entered a foster home to begin her medical treatment .
According to Stacey, her foster mother, Halo’s health was very delicate when she arrived, but no one at the shelter hesitated for a second to help her with anything.
