For those who have no voice a look, they can say everything if there is anyone who manages to pierce it, and this is what Judy Obregon felt when she saw Mr Muggles’ photo on Facebook, that look came to her soul and could no longer get him out of her mind, she knew she had to help this boy as soon as possible.
Judy would not only save a life, but a wounded heart that no longer wanted to be in that place. She is the founder of TAO: The Abandoned Ones Saving Animals in Danger (The Abandoned Beings, Save Animals in Danger) in Fort Worth, Texas, she does her best to rescue the dogs from the streets and shelters that are at risk, so that they can have the opportunity they deserve to find a home forever.
This sad-faced, two-year-old dog, a mixture of black mast, desperately needed to leave the public shelter in Arlington, Texas, had been in that compound for a month without finding a home, had already been programmed to put him to sleep because of a lack of space, with several suspensions and the hope that someone would appear who could adopt him.
Judy says she was immediately attracted to her eyes and that he needed to tell.
When he arrived at the shelter, he thought there was a lot to work with him, he realized that behind that look was a dog who had a magnificent attitude and the full potential to be a great pet, asked one of the volunteers to take him outside in the playground to spend more time in his company.
After 20 minutes of sitting next to him, Mr Muggles let Judy know that all he wanted was love, this boy posed his head on his lap to let himself rub his back and belly. I couldn’t retire leaving him there.
It must have been a great thrill to see the reaction of this furry in the car, says Judy who definitely knew he was being saved, was a little scared in the car for about five minutes and after 10 to 15 minutes, he got up and started smiling.
In this case Mr Muggles within minutes of leaving the shelter dissipated any sign of developing anxiety crisis problems, something usually presents dogs that have remained in these enclosures for a long time, as happened to him.
Judy couldn’t be happier, she went to VCA Bedford Meadows Animal Hospital, for her respective medical check-up, as she has always done for the health and safety of every animal she rescues, instantly the centre’s staff were left in love with Mr Muggles who proved to have a great temperament, the vet said.
This two-year-old dog, a mixture of mastiff, needed weight, had some scars and skin allergies, also traces of dry paint in part of his body. He’s recovered very well. He loves car rides.
Now this furry enjoys the new opportunity that has given him life, he loves to play with his brothers of upbringing and gets along well with his feline friend, even joins a pig that keeps him company, he is a wonderful and gentle dog.
