Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about the need for rest due to the demanding schedule.

Currently, Real Madrid are in second place in La Liga with 54 points from 25 matches, tied with league leaders Barcelona.

On February 26, the Madrid club will play against Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey semifinal.

“Given the absurd schedule, we are doing very well. But other teams are doing well too. In 50 days, we played 17 matches. It’s unbelievable.

“I get tired, and you get tired. That’s what I hear and see. We need rest,” said Real Madrid’s head coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
