A sweet German Shepherd dog had been cruelly abandoned in the middle of the woods. One of the neighbors called to report that no one in their building could sleep due to the constant barking of a dog that seemed to be pleading for help
Alex Kelly was alarmed by the shocking news. If the dog was completely alone, they feared they could be facing a serious case of animal neglect. Along with his team, Alex searched the back of the building, but they didn’t find any animals there .
Kelly knew they had to keep searching for the puppy, so she carefully surveyed the area and, after a long search, discovered a cute little head peeking timidly out from behind the plants. It was clear the dog needed help, but they needed to know if its owners were in the surrounding homes .
“No one wanted to say who the dog belonged to. They knew there would be trouble and didn’t want to get involved .”
In the middle of a pile of garbage was the cute little dog they named Genesis, completely abandoned. She had also been tied up so that she couldn’t find a way to feed herself or escape from that terrible place.
“If we had arrived a day later, the circulation to his leg could have been completely cut off . We would most likely have had to amputate his leg.”
“They probably made a small fortune off her adorable puppies , and yet they thanked her by abandoning her.”
Now, whenever someone starts petting her, the dog loves it and won’t let them stop. Her adorable personality won over a family who came to meet her at the shelter in just a few days, and they decided to take her home.
