Childbirth is one of the most complex activities of any mother in the animal kingdom. Just nine days after arriving in this world, a small foal lost its mother the same night it gave birth. That day the tender colt lost the person who gave him life, and without knowing it, he gained his most unconditional friend , an adorable Australian cattle dog named Zip.
Karla Swindle is the owner of the farm, she points out that raising horses is a normal activity for them, so Zip always sees them working and sees the horses as just another little animal, he used to watch them from the door and continue with his activities, but something happened to the curious little dog that showed so much interest in little Tye.
For some reason the little dog knew that he should stay with the new foal . She never abandoned Tye or her owner while they cared for the newest member of the estate.
I spent the night in the stable taking care of Mom’s horse, hoping I could help her. “Zip stayed with me in the stable all night, the colt was lying down and the little dog was lying next to him.”
You could say that a special bond was forming between the little colt and the sweet little dog, Zip knew something was wrong and was willing to comfort his new friend . Swindle says the little colt seemed more relaxed when Zip was at his side. Unknowingly, Zip was comforting the newborn horse with his presence.
Zip now has to understand that the colt needs his independence , he was there when he needed it most and without a doubt he has a special place in his heart. Puppies are undoubtedly one of the most faithful and intelligent animals.
