“Celebration” is the name of a seal that shortly after separating from his mother was in a difficult situation. He moved away from the sea and was stuck in a mud puddle from where he could not leave and we all know how dangerous this can be for a marine animal, even more so because they are still small.
The strange adventure that the seal lived since its exit from the ocean led it to a land belonging to the Frampton Marsh Natural Reserve of the United Kingdom, which is also the refuge of some 30 rescued cows.
Ian Ellis, who usually spends the afternoon watching birds, noticed the strange attitude of the cows and took out his telescope to see what happened. It was at that time that he noticed something strange that moved between them, what he never imagined is that it was a defenseless seal.
The rescuers investigated for the place to rule out that the mother of the seal was in the vicinity and when they noticed that the creature was really helpless and unprotected continued to help her.
The mammal was dehydrated and developed a lung infection that merited to be treated quickly to avoid complications. Luckily, Celebration was in the indicated hands and the specialist knew very well how to act.
After a few weeks of care, the mammal was swimming again in the refuge pools. For health reasons they could not return it immediately to the sea, but among all that had to live there was something quite positive.
They were fascinating days for this pair that became colleagues, because it seems that among themselves they encouraged to get ahead. In fact, Charlie and Celebration were released the same day.
The couple of seals had recovered their health and their caregivers seemed a good idea to return to their habitat together, perhaps they would maintain their friendship even within the sea.

A fairly curious story, because Celebration’s adventure could have ended in tragedy but thanks to the intervention of its curious bovine friends it was not so. After this, a whole wave of solidarity was raised in his name and later he returned to the home who should never have come out.
