250,000-year-old piece of wreckage discovered in Romania

In the summer of 1973, a group of employees inadvertently came across a heap of fossilized fossils. An expert came and confirmed that two of them were, in fact, fossilized mastodon skeletons.

He also noticed an instrument that looked like an ax which was presumably used to hunt mastodons in the past.

This out-of-place artifact is classified as Aiud Artifact.

Measures 8 x 5 x 3 inches and weighs 5 pounds. Its shape was an indication that the Aiud Artifact was once part of a greater assembly.

According to the study carried out in two institutions, the wedge was constructed of an alloy composed of 80 percent aluminum and 11 other two components. Aluminum would not corrode readily, as we all realize, but the oxide was as dense as 3 millimeters.

The inference reached by the experts was that this object was followed by the detection of aluminum. It was believed that the object was at least 250,000 years old.

Nobody knows how a 250,000-year-old slice of aluminum might look like, but the Aluminum Wedge suits very well with our figures.

The Aluminum Wedge is yet to be demonstrated by scientists, and every day we have more and more concerns regarding it.
