A cheeky owl took a dangerous nap between propeller blades of an aeroplane engine before he was quickly rescued by staff.
Engineers freed the barn owl after a pilot discovered it in his pre-flight checks on a Virgin Australia plane at Sydney airport on Thursday morning.
‘This owl didn’t give a hoot where it napped!’ the airline posted to Twitter.
