With love, he creates a mobile bed for his elderly dog to enjoy a last walk on the beach

An elderly dog was able to visit her favorite spot thanks to her owner’s act of love in making a mobile bed to carry her around.

This is the story of Cocoa, a 16-year-old autumn-loving Chesapeake Bay Retriever and her loving family. As a youngster, she was bursting with energy. As an adult, her muscles and bones have weakened.

She can barely walk, but she still loves adventure as much as she did years ago in her native Virginia Beach, USA.

And so, despite her condition, Cocoa continued to have fun until the end of her life. She traveled from her home in Georgia to Virginia Beach for the last time, with Tom Antonino and his wife.

She visited her beloved dog park again and walked on her bed by the sea under an amazing sunset.

The truth is that it was a brilliant idea, a unique way of doing things, overflowing with empathy and love for a pet from this exemplary couple.

Cocoa was relaxing on her mobile bed, but she still felt a little uncomfortable and out of place. But when she got out of the car and started to walk around, she felt really delighted.

Desafortunadamente, la perrita Cocoa dejó este plano naturalmente. Su fama creció en las redes sociales, pero no vivió para siempre. Realmente, su historia fue una que dejó una huella indeleble en los corazones de muchos amantes de los perros.

The relationship established between Cocoa and her humans is one of the closest, strongest and most unbreakable that can exist.

Rest in peace, my friend. May there be many more sunsets in your afterlife. Fly high, Cocoa! All dogs, no matter their age or condition, deserve to be loved until their last breath.
