A foal аЬапdoпed by his mother when he was just a few hours old has been nursed back to full health after snuggling up to sleep with a giant teddy bear every night.
Breeze the horse was аЬапdoпed by his mother just after birth in 2013 and taken in by The Mare and Foal Sanctuary at Upcott Park in Holsworthy, north Devon. He is pictured with Buttons – the large teddy bear gifted to him that was designed to be a surrogate mother
Breeze was gifted Buttons to keep him company and the two have been inseparable ever since
Now fresh pictures have been released showing that although Breeze is all grown-up and now bigger than Buttons – his loyal old friend has barely left his side.
Tracey Dixon, the yard manager at The Mare and Foal Sanctuary, said: ‘Consistent handling and regular training has helped to control Breeze, but our staff still have to keep an eуe on him.
