After enduring its suffering, the kind-hearted elephant afflicted with a tumor in its leg receives the long-awaited treatment.

Revisiting the Humble elephant with a tumor in his leg. Gets treated by officers

The old and weak elephant with a tumor in his leg was visited by the minister in charge of wildlife recently and got treated. It was seen having trouble walking around as well. Wildlife officers are always on time at such dire situations, and they wanted to treat this elephant after a checkup quickly. They were able to tag along with a minister in charge of the wildlife department. This minster is well known for being active across the fields of work given to him.

Today we have an update to the situation where these officers went again to check the situation with the giant that is seen raining around. It is still a very difficult and a life-threatening thing to approach a giant this big.

Even as a weak and ill elephant, this one is still capable of sending any human being flying even when they are sick and weak. Wildlife officers used the tranquilizer gun to shoot the elephant with medical shots as antidotes and proper medical attention.

However, this giant is doing better than the last time and is a little more active as well with enough energy to resist and threaten those who dare to get close. This giant is far from recovery and will take a lot of effort to get back to a healthier state. But this operation will require a lot of patience, time and money for all the treatments. More updates will follow through the coming weeks.

We humbly invite you to join us with a journey full of love and help to our treasured wild elephants in the paradise island of Sri Lanka.
