This is one of the ones that shows the true nature of nature.
It’s one tough go at ‘er out there…
Every day of a moose’s life, and many other animals, is a fight to get food, breed, and survive from predators. Not to mention, disease, traffic, climate… there’s a lot of things that can go wrong out there.
Since the beginning of time, there’s certainly been a fights over ladies and there always will be. A trait that humans and moose share, but we don’t have a massive antlers out of our heads to fight with, nor do we weigh 1,500 pounds.
Moose fights are one of the coolest things to watch, but sometimes, these battles don’t end well.
It’s sad to see, but it’s just part of what goes on out there. Deer get locked together, bears will fight to the death sometimes, nature is just a cruel beast.
These two mature bull moose are seen out in a field. It’s clearly the end of the battle as one of the moose is on the ground as the other bull is ramming into him as he lays basically defenseless. The bull is going right at its chest, and the one on the ground flails around a bit as the attacker keeps a strong push on.
There’s no way that moose got out of this alive taking blows straight to the chest from those paddles.
You don’t see the whole fight but it’s enough to show how cruel it can be out there…
These are some tough animals… but tough doesn’t always survive.
