The always outspoken Draymond Green has done it again — and this time, his target isn’t another NBA player. It’s Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
During a recent podcast episode, the Golden State Warriors forward didn’t hold back as he went off on Prescott, saying:
“Dak’s a bum… They’ll never win with Dak. I’m not saying Dak Prescott isn’t a good NFL quarterback — of course he is. But when the money’s on the line, when it’s for all the marbles… who are you? He a bum.”
The internet instantly caught fire. NFL fans flooded social media, calling Draymond’s comments “disrespectful but not entirely wrong.” Cowboys Nation, however, wasn’t having it — one fan snapped back, “Draymond should worry about not getting suspended instead of talking football.”
Insiders say people close to Prescott were “furious” after hearing the remarks and that Dak himself “didn’t appreciate being called out by someone who doesn’t even play his sport.” Rumors are swirling that Prescott might respond in his own way — possibly during his next postgame presser.
Sports commentators are already labeling this as “the first major NBA–NFL beef of 2025.” Some believe Draymond’s fiery rant was a publicity stunt, while others say it’s just Draymond being Draymond — unfiltered, unapologetic, and always ready to throw verbal punches.
