Jerry Jones Vows to Ban Brewers “Karen” Forever from AT&T Stadium After She Screamed Racist Comment at Dodgers Fan, and She’s Actually a Make-a-Wish Board Member. ‘THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR TRASH LIKE YOU’

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones fined $250K for 'inadvertent' obscene gesture

The sports world is reeling from a shocking incident of verbal racial abuse at a recent Dodgers playoff game, which has now drawn a fiery, zero-tolerance response from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The uproar began when Ricardo Fosado, a Dodgers fan and Navy veteran, captured a video of a woman, later identified as a well-known community figure and Make-A-Wish Foundation board member, screaming xenophobic slurs at him.

The recorded video, which has since gone viral, shows the woman—dubbed the “Brewers Karen”—aggressively confronting Fosado and yelling, “Let’s call ICE!”—a racially charged threat aimed at questioning the veteran’s immigration status.

While the incident took place at Dodger Stadium, it quickly crossed state lines when Jerry Jones, known for his definitive stance on stadium behavior, issued a blistering statement through a team spokesperson. Although the woman is reportedly a Brewers fan and the confrontation was with a Dodgers fan, Jones’s warning was clear and absolute.

“We have seen the disturbing video and have independently verified the identity of the person involved,” the statement read. “The Dallas Cowboys organization and the entire AT&T Stadium complex will never tolerate this kind of hateful rhetoric or discrimination. We stand with Mr. Fosado, a decorated Navy veteran, and are appalled by the behavior of this individual. She is hereby banned for life from AT&T Stadium and all associated properties. We want to be explicit: ‘THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR TRASH LIKE YOU.’

The revelation that the woman is reportedly a board member of a local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization dedicated to granting wishes to critically ill children, has intensified the backlash. Social media users are demanding her immediate removal from the board, citing the profound disconnect between her public service role and her recorded hateful actions.

Fosado, the victim, shared his disbelief. “I served this country. To be threatened with deportation and called slurs just for wearing a jersey… it hurts,” he said.

The incident underscores the ongoing issue of fan harassment in professional sports. Jones’s swift and harsh response sets a powerful precedent, reinforcing that while rivalry is welcome, racism and xenophobia have no place in the stands, regardless of which teams are playing. The league is expected to follow suit with a wider ban.
