Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer just took the Jimmy Kimmel scandal to a whole new level — by personally banning the late-night host from setting foot in AT&T Stadium.
During a fiery locker room media scrum, Schottenheimer reportedly lost his cool when asked about Kimmel’s controversial comments about conservative pundit Charlie Kirk.
“He’s not just cancelled — he’s blacklisted. He will never step foot in my stadium. Not while I’m here,” Schottenheimer said, pounding his fist on the podium.
Players in the locker room were said to be stunned, with one unnamed Cowboy whispering:
“We’ve never seen Coach this heated. It felt like we just lost a playoff game.”
Social media immediately went wild. Memes flooded X (formerly Twitter) showing Kimmel trying to sneak into the stadium in disguise — some even photoshopped him wearing the Cowboys mascot Rowdy’s giant head.
Fans are divided. Some are cheering Schottenheimer’s stance, calling it “exactly what needed to be said.” Others argue the ban is over the top, with one fan writing:
“This is football, not a court of law. Let the man watch the game.”
Jimmy Kimmel himself hasn’t stayed silent. Hours after the story broke, he tweeted a cryptic message:
“Guess I’ll have to watch from the parking lot. Hope they sell good nachos out there.”
Insiders say this feud may only just be getting started, with speculation that Kimmel could address the ban in a monologue on his return to TV — if ABC lets him back on the air.
For now, one thing is certain: Kimmel’s name won’t be on the guest list at AT&T Stadium anytime soon.
