The heated atmosphere before the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 1 opener was suddenly doused with cold water. In the latest injury report, both Jalen Royals – the young hope on the offensive line, and Omarr-Norman Lott – the steel wall of the defense, appeared in a worrying state.
Internal sources revealed that Royals had a problem right in the closed practice session, and Lott was suddenly injured in a strong collision during a dispute. Two consecutive incidents made Chiefs fans “unable to sit still”. On social networks, a series of confused comments erupted: “Is this a bad omen right from the opening match?”, “Chargers haven’t even played yet, but Chiefs have already lost a player!”.
