Photographer David Northall captured in Botswana the moment when a honey badger (Mellivora capensis) appears to have lost to its prey, a Cape porcupine (Hystrix africaeaustralis), which left it badly injured by its sharp spines. However, according to the photographer, the hunter did not give up, and his persistence was eventually rewarded.
