Trent Alexander-Arnold had quite the eventful presentation as he was confirmed as a new player for Real Madrid.
The Englishman surprised many by giving his presentation speech in Spanish, confirming that he had been learning the language for a few months.
He also made an interesting comments about his admiration for Real Madrid’s capability of winning UEFA Champions League titles.
Trent stated: “I grew up watching this club winning 3 Champions Leagues in a row. A big reason why I joined is to join an exciting young team to win trophies.”
This particular comment has infuriated many Liverpool fans, because one of the finals was where he featured against Los Blancos and saw Real Madrid win 3-1.
