Sandy is a white German Shepherd with such a noble spirit that he won the hearts of everyone who met him.

But after experiencing the most horrible side of humanity, the very person who left him to his fate, causing such grave harm, Sandy also experienced kindness. Corfu Animal Aid took charge of his rescue.

That’s why Pat Clark went to extraordinary lengths to transport the puppy to London, where there was a chance for recovery. There, a team of veterinarians and volunteers gave Sandy the chance at a new life.

Everyone fell in love with this beautiful shepherd’s enthusiasm. ♥ But they finally made it, and Sandy arrived in England at the Mutts in Distress Shelter , an organization dedicated to helping puppies from all over the world.

Sandy was so tired from his trip and all the exams that he fell asleep without any problems.

A month later, she had her first surgery and it went wonderfully, Sandy continued to impress everyone.

Right leg, finally!

They tried to give him a wheelchair to help him walk, but Sandy didn’t want anything to do with the device.

After a few weeks came the second surgery.

Sandy had two months of rehabilitation ahead of her before she could walk.

Unfortunately, they spread because he had complications with an infection.

But despite everything, Sandy never changed her positive attitude towards life.

Finally able to go for his first walk after surgery, Sandy was finally able to walk straight after so long with his legs crooked.

This is how he looks now, loving every day of his life. Sandy lives on a farm with 12 other dogs who are his friends. He has the same fun and playful spirit, but now his body can keep up with his beautiful canine soul.

He can run and play normally with other dogs, he is happy and comfortable.

What a wonderful change for this cute boy!
