Real Madrid are preparing for Luka Modric’s eventual departure and have reportedly set their sights on Tijjani Reijnders as a possible replacement. According to Defensa Central, the club see the AC Milan midfielder as a key option for their future plans.

Milan, however, are not open to selling easily. The Italian side have placed a €70 million price tag on the Dutch international, who is under contract until 2028.

Reijnders, 26, has impressed in both Serie A and the Champions League this season. His performance at the Santiago Bernabeu stood out to several figures at Valdebebas.

The report adds that Real Madrid believe Reijnders is a more realistic option than PSG’s Vitinha, who is viewed as very difficult to sign due to his high release clause and club stance.
