Trent Alexander-Arnold rejected an offer from Liverpool to become the highest-paid full-back in the world to join Real Madrid, reports The Athletic.

Trent was handed multiple offers from Liverpool to extend his contract but he politely refused them as his sights were set elsewhere.

It is believed that Liverpool might’ve placed a salary offer worth around €400,000 per week to get Trent to stay.
