Trent Alexander-Arnold has officially confirmed that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The Englishman’s contract expires at the end of June (2025) and he will not be renewing terms with the club.
That is because he is now set to join Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer to bolster Los Blancos’ backline.
After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, now is the time for me to confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the season.
This is easily the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life.
I know many of you have wondered why or been frustrated that I haven’t spoken about this… pic.twitter.com/emAw5RvXq0

Real Madrid will be receiving a highly decorated and experienced right-back, who has 23 goals and 92 assists in 352 Liverpool appearances so far.
Madridistas on Reddit are absolutely ecstatic to his deal being agreed, as here are some of the best reactions.

ChampagneInferno: “No More Lord Vazquez ball, That’s enough for me to like this transfer. Welcome Trent!”
Leading_Inside3812: “Finally man!! Not the bs with 500 article, 300 teaser and then waiting 2 weeks before the season ends with up and down rollercoaster if he really comes or not.”

Fomdj: “Every season there’s that new signing that gets the media talking, first it was bellingham, then Mbappe, now TRENT😜Give me more.”
