Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has scored a goal in the 25th round of the English Premier League against Wolverhampton (1–0).
He has become the first player since Lionel Messi to reach 250 goal contributions under head coach Pep Guardiola. Messi reached this milestone during Guardiola’s time at Barcelona.
De Bruyne has been working with Guardiola since 2016. It was previously reported that the Belgian will leave the club at the end of the season. Messi and Guardiola worked together from 2008 to 2012.
