Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly close to becoming the new manager of the Brazil national team, according to Sky Sports.

Negotiations are set to advance in May, but sources suggest the Italian could exit Los Blancos as early as next week. The Brazilian Football Confederation views Ancelotti’s appointment as a cornerstone for revitalising the Selecao, with plans to formally unveil the team’s new direction soon. This move comes after the sacking of former coach Dorival Junior.

Ancelotti, whose tenure at Real included multiple La Liga and Champions League triumphs, would bring vast experience to Brazil, aiming to restore their dominance on the global stage.
