This time, it’s a furry little thing for whom a wave of solidarity has been launched, with the sole purpose of saving her life.

This mixed breed is one of the many animals under the care of Causes for Animals in Singapore, a non-profit organization that helps vulnerable animals.

Mandai initially joined the organization as one of the beneficiaries of a program that ensures the sterilization of homeless dogs.
The animals aren’t actually rescued, but are sterilized free of charge and receive food and medical checkups. However, a complex health issue led the organization to do more for her.

Mandai appeared with a small lump on her snout that has grown large enough to prevent her from eating or drinking normally. Such simple actions are truly difficult for her to perform, and her life could be in danger.

Given the complexity of the matter, the organization captured Mandai Mama and took her to the Animal World Veterinary Clinic, where she underwent various studies that shed light on her case.

Unfortunately, in a post on April 16, what they feared so much was reported: the tumor is malignant and inoperable.
Although the operation won’t be possible, the furry one still needs help to cover the costs of her expensive treatment. Currently, Mandai has shown improvements compared to how weakened she was when she was taken off the streets.

Mandai’s fate is uncertain, but no one wants to throw in the towel in the fight for his life, and they need our help to continue their battle against cancer.
