Carlo Ancelotti addressed the media today ahead of Real Madrid’s La Liga clash with Alaves tomorrow.
He spoke about Vinicius Jr.’s recent struggles, saying: “It’s difficult to say. Especially in the last few weeks we’ve seen a general slump, not just in individual players. We’ve conceded a lot in the last few games and that’s where we need to put the brakes on. Above all, when those up top aren’t as effective as usual.”
Ancelotti also provided an update on Dani Ceballos, confirming he will be available for tomorrow’s match. “He is available for tomorrow and, obviously, for Wednesday,” he said.
The Real Madrid manager’s comments come as the team looks to regain their form after recent setbacks.
