Valverde doesn’t go easy, not even in training. Unfortunately, he was the recipient of a freak injury during Madrid’s last session.
The midfielder’s left foot was spotted bleeding profusely during the session.
This doesn’t look for Valverde, but it’s treatable.
After all, Antonio Rudiger once returned to action a week after having his head split open with a nasty tackle.
However, Valverde is one of Real Madrid’s best players and will be sorely missed if this injury were to rule him out.
