‘One more dance’: Toni Kroos returns to football seven months after announcing his retirement
Toni Kroos announced his retirement from football in the summer of 2024, but he’s not ready to hang up his boots for good just yet.
The former Real Madrid midfielder took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with the caption “One more dance,” announcing his return to the pitch.
But don’t get too excited – he’s not playing the return leg against Atletico next Wednesday.
Instead, the German midfielder is gearing up for a new challenge in The Icon League, a one-of-a-kind competition that blends sports, music, and entertainment, starting on March 10.
Kroos will represent the team B2B United.
