Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has urged Erling Haaland to show more after Manchester City’s 5-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium. Haaland, who scored a header to equalize, was mostly anonymous, touching the ball only six times in the first half.
Henry criticized Haaland’s lack of involvement when City weren’t dominating, saying, “I wouldn’t have been able to cope with the lack of service; I would have gone to get it, do something.”

He also questioned Haaland’s potential to win the Ballon d’Or if he continues playing this way, noting that goal-scoring alone isn’t enough.

Henry highlighted a moment when Haaland didn’t make a run on the break, pointing out that even his speed wasn’t being utilized.

He compared him to Alexander Isak, who caused problems for Gabriel by running in behind, saying, “What happened to that? Drop and spin.”
