On 24th May 2014, Sergio Ramos scored arguably the greatest goal of his career.
With Atletico Madrid leading Real Madrid 1-0 in the Champions League final, Ramos decided it was time to strike.
The clock had struck 93 minutes when Real Madrid were awarded a corner. Luka Modric strode to the flag and whipped in a cross for the ages.

And there was Ramos to power home a bullet header beyond Thibaut Courtois — the big Belgian is now at Real, but he was left red-faced by that Ramos goal.
Ramos’s goal forced extra time after which Real Madrid would go on to annihilate their city rivals by scoring three more goals via Bale, Marcelo and Ronaldo. Los Blancos won that game 4-1.
Ramos is rumoured to be close to signing for Mexican club Monterrey and has reportedly decided to wear the number 93 shirt at his new club.

It’s all down to that unforgettable night in the Champions League final.
