Last Saturday, Pedro Dinise was walking his dog in Carrières-sur-Seine, west of Paris, when he witnessed an unbelievable sight. Surprisingly, a female French mastiff was found buried alive.
Mr. Dinise and his dog managed to rescue the dog.
The dog had been buried alive with a rope attached to a bag of gravel tied around its neck, leaving it unable to move.
The dog was covered in dirt and could not breathe.
Dinise desperately tried to dig out the ground where the dog was buried, trying to save it.
Dinise’s dog also helped out.
keep it up! Just a little more
The dog’s 21-year-old owner was later arrested after police investigated, but the owner denied the charge of burying the dog alive, saying the dog ran away on its own.
However, the dog is over 10 years old and suffers from arthritis, making it difficult for him to escape on his own. If the case goes to trial, the owner could face two years in prison and a 30,000 euro (approximately 4 million yen) fine for animal cruelty.
Worried about dehydration, Dinise refilled the dog with water on the way.
With the help of my dog, I was able to rescue the dog.
