The Real Madrid hierarchy are disappointed in the performances of Aurelien Tchouameni, Relevo reports.

Some top dogs at the club are not convinced that Tchouameni is worth the €80m the club paid to get him in 2022, judging by his overall performances since.

However, other leaders at the club are feeling sorry for Tchouameni because he isn’t playing in his best position after the midfielder was drafted to fill the void at central defence.

Tchouameni was at the thick of things as Real Madrid conceded five goals against Barcelona losing the Spanish Super Cup final.
In that game, Madrid broke their own record of never conceding more than four goals in one half in any final.

The good news for both Tchouameni and Real Madrid is that David Alaba is back to full fitness and should return to the defence. Ancelotti is also expected to end his experiment of playing Tchouameni in defence and give more minutes to Raul Asencio.
