Real Madrid will not have the services of striker Vinicius in the upcoming two matches in La Liga, after their appeal for the Brazilian striker was rejected. According to the appellate committee’s conclusion, the evidence Real presented to seek justice for Vinicius was invalid.
In Real’s 2-1 win over Valencia on January 4, Vinicius received a red card for pushing Los Che goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski. After the referee consulted VAR and disqualified Vinicius, Real’s striker wearing the number 7 shirt was very dissatisfied. He even rushed in to claim the “black shirt king” if his teammates did not intervene promptly.
According to initial predictions, Vinicius may receive a maximum suspension of up to 12 matches. However, in the end, the La Liga disciplinary committee only banned this player born in 2000 from playing in 2 matches.
In an effort to reduce Vinicius’s sentence, Real’s Board of Directors recently sent the appeals committee a video recording the scene of his player being racially abused by some aggressive fans.
The Royal Spanish Football Team believes that it was the provocations that agitated Vinicius. Therefore, La Liga organizers should also sympathize with the unrestrained behavior of the Real striker. However, Real’s complaint efforts ultimately yielded no results.
In the official response to Real’s appeal, the appellate committee clearly stated: “The video that Real sent us was actually cut, edited and edited. We do not support it but strongly support it.” protested against racist acts, but the evidence presented by Real was not clear and convincing enough, so the clip we received could not be evidence to help mitigate the disciplinary action Vinicius”.
