During confinement, the abandonment of pets was the order of the day in many countries, thus dramatically increasing the number of complaints that groups and government entities received daily in this regard.

It seems that no one thinks about the defenseless creatures when they decide to get rid of them because, far from trying to relocate them to a better place, they end up leaving them to their fate. This is what happened to the dark brown pit bull found in the 18 de Marzo park a few weeks ago.

The creature lasted at least 24 hours with a chain around its neck that kept it clinging to a fence in the park, thus preventing its mobility.

The neighbors had noticed the heartbreaking scene, as the dog did not stop crying, begging for help, until a good Samaritan decided to report it and called the competent authorities to come to its rescue.

The General Directorate of the Environment of Toluca received the complaint and immediately sent its workers to carry out the rescue. Upon arrival at the park, the dog was released and transported to a shelter to receive a medical evaluation.

This news reached the networks thanks to the General Directorate of the Environment, which presented the case on its Facebook page. In addition to the publication, they also revealed important figures about the complaints they have received throughout the year in the city of Toluca.

The photographs of the pitbull while it was rescued reveal the sadness and fear that the poor little animal felt. We cannot imagine the anguish he must have gone through during the 24 hours he was tied to that fence, undoubtedly a fact that should be punished by law.

In this case there has been no one responsible, it seems that whoever committed such a crime knew how to do it very well. However, we are sure that if it is not justice, then karma will take care of that person. For now, we are happy to know that the pitbull was rescued and that the authorities are doing their best to relocate him to a loving home.
