“His ability to find joy in the simplest things warms our hearts.” Meet Octavia — a curious, energetic lamb with personality to spare.
“The moment we met this sprightly little chap with a twinkle in his eye, we understood why his rescuers had fallen head over hooves for him,” Edgar’s Mission wrote in a Facebook post about Octavia. “But beneath his soft, fluffy wool was a painful story crying for help.”
As soon as Octavia saw the large stuffie, he knew just what to do. He cuddled up alongside his new friend and settled right in.
The teddy is just one of the many comforts Octavia enjoys at Edgar’s Mission.
“His ability to find joy in the simplest things warms our hearts,” Edgar’s Mission wrote. “Whether it’s bouncing around on his colourful boots, curling up with his oversized teddy, or watching cartoons (Scooby-Doo is his favorite).”

These days, Octavia is still recovering, spending much of his time with Edgar’s Mission founder Pam Ahern. The animal advocate is constantly in awe of the lamb.
