Real Madrid was honored as the best club, Vinicius won the Best Player award and Carlo Ancelotti was elected the best coach, at the annual Globe Soccer Award ceremony taking place in Dubai.
Real Madrid will experience a brilliant 2024 with 5 titles including La Liga, Champions League, Spanish Super Cup, European Super Cup and most recently the Intercontinental Cup. Thanks to that impressive achievement, the Spanish team was voted the best club of 2024 at the 15th awards ceremony taking place at the 5-star Atlantic hotel, The Palm in Dubai.
Speaking about the secret to Real Madrid’s success, Real Madrid General Director Jose Angel Sanchez said: “There is no secret. You must work hard. You have to adapt to changes and stay loyal to the club’s values.”
Florentino Perez was awarded the Best President of All Time award. The head of Real Madrid expressed his thanks through an online video: “Since becoming president of Real Madrid in 2000, I have always said that it is an honor to head a sports organization that is loved and admired. the largest grave in the world. And everything I have done has been an effort to ensure that this club continues to be in the position it deserves because of its rich history and what Real Madrid represents to millions of people around the world.”
Carlo Ancelotti was honored as the best coach of 2024. Like Perez, the Italian strategist shared his feelings through a video: “I’m sorry that I can’t be with you tonight. Thank you very much for this award, this is a great honor. This has been a great year. I want to thank the club and my players. We hope to fight and continue to win many titles next season. Thank you.”
“I expect to win many titles with Real Madrid. I signed for the best club in the world. I have the best teammates and coaching staff. There is a hunger to win more. Five titles in one year is good, but we want to continue for many more years with this generation and continue to create history with Real Madrid,” Bellingham said during the award ceremony.
“My teammates helped me adapt, they accepted me. Walking into a dressing room with so many stars and only speaking English was difficult, but they helped me integrate easily. We ended a perfect year. There are games where we could have done better but things are going well. We will aim for everything by 2025,” the English midfielder shared.
Vinicius also won two important awards: Best Player and Best Striker. The Brazilian star shared: “I am very happy to receive this award along with many other great players. I had to put in a lot of effort to get to this point and I would like to thank everyone who has been by my side. I represent many kids who grew up on the streets and that helped me a lot to get to where I am today.”

Another face who won two awards is Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese player was elected the Best Player in the Middle East and the honorary award for Greatest Scorer of All Time, after Ronaldo reached the milestone of 900 goals in 2024.
