Solo is one of those little dogs that lived on the streets of Los Angeles, United States for more than eleven years . For a long time he was accompanied by other stray dogs, but one day his luck changed after he fell asleep on the porch of a woman’s house.
The next day the woman noticed the unexpected visitor who was lying on her porch. Seeing him alone and very scared, she decided to give him a little help and name the dog Solovino, because “he came alone .
Upon arriving at the shelter, Solo was quickly assigned a foster home where he spent a year and a half sharing with other dogs.
Carol Messina saw the photo of the dog on the internet and immediately knew she wanted him home.
Messina was enchanted by Solovino’s story, she knew that it was destiny that had brought them together, so without wasting time she went to look for him. It was not easy for the little dog to adapt to his new home. After living on the street for so long, jumping from one home to another , it was difficult to imagine that this time it would be forever. However, after a few months Solo’s behavior was the same, he was shy with people, cats and other dogs.
His adoptive mother discovered that he had serious hearing problems. Being such an old dog, the rescue center had not noticed that he was basically deaf and his teeth were in very bad condition , which caused him tremendous pain. In view of this, Messina scheduled a small surgery to repair Solo’s teeth, since then, the adorable little dog has totally changed.
Fortunately, Solo found a person who loves him and accepts him as he is, despite all the health problems he has, he has learned to deal with them , his owner can only love him and offer him the best years for the rest of his life.
