The feelings that goats have for their fellow goats transcend species. A dog and a goat at an animal shelter in North Carolina, U.S., are so close that they always spend time together.
The staff at the facility realized that the two animals had formed an inseparable bond after being abandoned due to their owner’s circumstances, and are currently looking for a rescue place where they can take care of them together.
On March 13, Felix the dog and Cinnamon the goat were brought to the Wake County Animal Center by animal control in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The two animals came to the facility because their owner was forced to give them up to be hospitalized.
The unique pairing of a dog and a goat led facility staff to theorize that they had been raised together for a long time.
In particular, Cinnamon seems to be crazy about Felix, and the two of them run around and play together in the facility’s open space, sleep and eat together, and are always a good fit.
It would be pity for the two of them, who have probably spent so much time together, to be separated from each other in the future.
Once upon a time, there was a goat that was rescued from a farm with poor breeding conditions. Even in such an environment, he formed a deep friendship with Donkey.
However, after being separated from his best friend, Donkey, who was sent to a different facility, he became so sad that he couldn’t eat anything . There is also a story that when they were brought together again through the arrangement of each other’s facilities, they regained their strength.
“I can’t see you, I feel sad.” A goat that couldn’t eat anything was reunited with a donkey, and it regained its energy! (America)
