A very pregnant dog was found in the park hiding under some cars. Terrified and hopeful, her rescuer could only assume that she had been abandoned there by a heartless person.
The stranger who cared more than her owner was quick to make sure she didn’t get angry. He tried to gain the dog’s trust. The dog was scared, but it only took some chicken and a few kind words to convince her to come out from under the car she was hiding in.
The dog slowly crawled out from under the car, so the rescuer began making plans to put her in a crate so she could be safely transported to the shelter. He carefully put a leash around her neck while feeding her chicken and petting her gently.
They didn’t have to wait long for her to give birth either. Because she soon gave birth to five puppies with white, black, brown and white spots that looked just like their mother. The whole family was healthy and happy.
Three months later, the puppies are playful and adorable. Their proud mom is doing great, too. All thanks to the kindness of a stranger, this whole little family is happy and safe, and the puppies were not born on the street.
It’s impossible to understand how anyone could adopt such a powerful animal in its most powerful form. Thankfully, there are people who step up, adopt these adult dogs, and find them homes.
