Dr Neville Hollingworth places the ѕkᴜɩɩ of a mammoth believed to be 50,000 years old at his home in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Dr Hollingworth, a palaeontologist with the Natural Environment Research Council in Swindon, made the discovery while digging in a gravel pit at the Cotswolds Country Park, where a number of Ice Age mammal bones have been found, describing the ѕkᴜɩɩ as the best find in 20 years of fossil collecting.
