This is the case of Tyler Bandy, a 10-year-old boy, and his canine friend Bruiser. They were inseparable, their parents enjoyed watching them play together, get into countless pranks, be accomplices and of course, they were the darlings of the house.
During this process, children begin to understand that their friend will not last a lifetime, however, a sudden separation can leave a great void.
Several rescue groups actively participated in the search for the puppy.
But one day everything changed when the parents had to give him the sad news that their beloved dog had gone missing.
The family had to make a great effort to cheer up the boy when he didn’t have his faithful friend.
“A few months ago, a family living near Fort Meade lost their dog after he ran away chasing a rabbit. Despite making every effort to find him: Facebook posts, calling Animal Control and Animal Services, leaving a towel out so he could pick up the scent, etc., they were unable to find him.”
Many people participated in the search and rescue of Bruiser, and after a great effort, authorities finally managed to find him.
“It turns out that his dog had been picked up by someone on their way to Highlands County and, after months, ended up in the hands of Animal Services personnel,” the Sheriff’s Office said in the statement.
The touching reunion was recorded and shared by his parents on the networks, thousands of people have been moved by watching one of the most genuine scenes, and how could it not be, if the scene of a child and a puppy loving each other leaves even the hardest heart with a permanent smile.
“To say Bruiser had a happy homecoming would be putting it lightly. Tyler was simply overwhelmed when his parents surprised him with his best friend. The two have been inseparable ever since,” officials concluded.
The parents emphasize that Tyler’s relationship with Bruiser is one of the most significant in his life, so having to suddenly move away from him was a very hard blow. Fortunately, he has returned home and they will continue to strengthen their bond. Hopefully this tender friendship will last for many more years.
