Due to neglect or because pets get old, there are families who truly believe that it is very easy to close the eyes of a dog or cat forever. Emu was the protagonist of a very cruel story, associated with this attitude.
This is where everything was about to change for Emu. He found a foster family to live with and was taken to Vet Point for a check-up and to begin the recovery process.
He just wanted a permanent family to love him, but for an older dog, being adopted is a pretty long shot. Emu wasn’t in the best shape either, but his foster family wasn’t going to give up.
In a new home with a new family, Emu now has a new name: Nutzie! After two months, Nutzie settled in with her new brother, Sahara. The two are completely inseparable, and this life is what she had always dreamed of.
