Two wild mongrel dogs were found in a nearby park, but the fact that they couldn’t get up moved those who rescued them
Grace, who even had the strength to stand up, was physically weaker, so her companion chose her to keep her warm.
“Lyla came up to me, wagging her tail, but she closed her eyes as if she thought she was going to get hit,” Harper said.
Since she has gained the trust of both dogs with petting and praise, she is able to safely approach them, giving them a vest to keep them warm and then taking them to the vet for evaluation.
The dogs had been recently injured and upon evaluation, she realized they were only 2 years old and had been severely exploited. However, the dog in critical need is Gracie.
They both began receiving therapy, and Gracie showed excitement and even said she wanted to carry her rescuer while still lying on her back. Even though she had a long way to go, she remained calm and aggressive. After a few days, she regained her strength.
According to Harper, we are really concerned about the connection, but we are not sure how to proceed.
I can’t get over it as we both have medical support.
