While Unicorns Are Mythical Creatures, This Magical Bird Is Not, It’s Real And It’s All The Colors Of The Rainbow – Meet The White-browed Tit Warbler!

The more we think about the beauty in this world, the more we think about what might have been. Were unicorns real, what about the legendary bird the Pheonix? Does it really matter?

I think not, because the bird you are about to see is magical, and even better it does exist. It is covered in stunning iridescent colors that strike a gorgeous rainbow pattern of colors when it moves.

This bird is the white-browed tit-warbler located in the Himalayan area of China and Tian Shan. This bird has a purplish-blue coat of feathers with a pinkish belly and a chestnut head cap. Their eyebrows can appear grey and or white. A tiny bird, they weigh in at between 6 and 8 grams or 0.21 – 0.28 ounces. They are around 8.5 – 1o cm in length, or 3.3 – 3.9 inches in length.

These birds are quite attractive as well as very polite. Their tweets sound, “sirrrrrr.” They live in pairs during the breeding season but join flocks over 25 at the end. They have a variety of diets that range from seeds to berries and small insects to spiders.

Fortunately, the tit-warblers are not threatened by extinction. The reasons are the lack of local predators in the nesting areas and the well-camouflaged nests.
