70 Years Of Cover-ups Over UFOs Are Finally Coming To An End

Vice-President of the International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research is Gary Heseltine (ICER). He was a former British police investigator who left the force after 24 years to create the bimonthly online magazine UFO Truth Magazine.

The 1950s-era denial and debunking strategy for reports of “alien spacecraft” encounters is losing its effectiveness. Even former US presidents and CIA directors acknowledge that there are things outside of our understanding.

It’s commonly believed that the greatest significant event in human history will occur when humanity admits that “life” exists in the cosmos and contacts an advanced civilisation.

So, practically everyone agrees on the consequences of such “contact,” but have we not been having regular interactions with highly intelligent alien beings for a long time?

As we approach the summer of 2021, on this World UFO Day, it’s possible that the world is about to learn something that will surprise and possibly shock most people.

Over the past 70 years, highly qualified, reliable individuals have encountered numerous witness accounts and interacted with intellect that is figuratively extraterrestrial.

These incidents from all around the world have undergone thorough investigations and documentation, but governments, the military, scientists, and the academic community have mostly ignored them.

Why?

The reason is straightforward and unambiguous: since the early 1950s, governments all over the world have ridiculed and trivialized the topic of UFOs, or flying saucers, with the help of the mainstream media.

It can’t be, therefore it isn’t, as the late nuclear scientist and ardent UFO believer Stanton Friedman used to remark.

This statement is especially true if we consider why the scientific and academic communities have largely disregarded the vast body of evidence provided by witnesses such as military pilots, commercial pilots, astronauts, cosmonauts, radar operators, air traffic controllers, sonar operators, military personnel, and police officers.

Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) has recently taken the place of the word “UFO” in an effort to encourage greater interest in the topic among scientists, academics, and the media. But because of the artificial stigma connected, most people still view this subject as “taboo.”

It is understandable that the majority of academics and scientists do not take the UFO/UAP phenomena seriously given how the topic has been denigrated and ignored for so many years. After all, people have been informed throughout the majority of their life that there is no evidence to back the idea that some of these stories are legitimate, cannot be explained, and maybe originate from extraterrestrials or other non-human species.

But practically all of them are unaware that they, along with hundreds of millions of other regular Americans, were duped by a powerful propaganda machine that the US purposefully and artificially stoked.

Scientists got together in January 1953 for two days to discuss how to “remove the aura” that the general people had associated with flying saucers. They determined that starting a debunking effort was the best course of action. The purposeful use of the media in all of its forms, including television, cinema, newspapers, books, and magazines, was to reject, trivialize, and mock flying saucers.

The “Robertson Panel,” which is the organization in charge of this strategy, is named after its chairman, Harold Percival Robertson.

Most people have no idea how the dreadful stigma and mockery that have persisted around this subject for decades were actually brought about by a policy.

The vast majority of astronomers won’t even consider looking at the masses of UFO/UAP data, and those who have shown a desire to engage in serious investigation have been discouraged from doing so due to the potential for ridicule and the potential impact on their careers.

For those who ventured to take the phenomenon seriously, this dread has remained for years and has been a potent deterrent. Scientists and academics received a loud and unambiguous warning: avoid UFO/UAP study at all costs or risk having your career destroyed.

However, there have been important developments on this front during the past several weeks and months that appear to be heralding the end of this long-standing deception and denial strategy.

A nine-page preliminary assessment report on US Navy interactions with UAPs along the east and west coasts of America in recent years was delivered to Congress last week by a US Navy Task Force.

It listed 144 incidents that the US military has documented since 2004, noting that 143 of them were still unsolved. It is a startling figure given the vast technical resources the US possesses. How did 143 military people, utilizing the most cutting-edge technology available, fail to recognize the enigmatic things they saw?

In total contrast to what previous leaders had stated on the subject, we have also observed individuals at the highest echelons of the military and administration changing their stance and speaking out about the phenomena.

In a television interview from the previous year, Senator Marco Rubio stated: “We have things flying about military sites and locations where we’re doing military exercises, and we don’t know what it is or that it is ours. That’s a fair question, and I’d honestly argue that it would be preferable if it came from somewhere other than Earth than from one of our enemies, like the Chinese, the Russians, or someone else.

The basic line is that if there are objects flying over military bases that you don’t know about, aren’t yours, and show prospective technology you don’t have access to, that, in my opinion, poses a national security issue that we should be investigating.

“Dozens of men and women we have entrusted with the protection of our country are informing us about contacts with unidentified aircraft with capabilities we do not completely comprehend,” he continued in a subsequent interview. We must let the negative connotations associated with UFOs prevent us from taking these experiences seriously.

In a recent speech at George Mason University, former CIA Director John Brennan said: “I think it’s a bit naive and arrogant for us to believe that there’s no other form of life anyplace in the entire cosmos…

“I think some of the phenomena we’re going to see continues to be unexplained and might actually be some type of phenomenon that is the result of something that we don’t yet understand, and that could involve some type of activity that some might say involves a different form of life,” the author said.

Former national intelligence chief John Ratcliffe recently stated on Fox News that there are “things that we are noticing that are difficult to explain,” adding, “There’s really quite a few of those. We occasionally ponder whether or if our enemies possess technologies that are a little more advanced than we initially believed or recognized.

However, there are times when we don’t have enough justifications for some of the things we have observed. When we discuss sightings, we don’t only mean pilot sightings, satellite sightings, or information gathering. We often have several sensors picking up these things.

In an interview with CNN earlier this year, James Clapper, another former director of national intelligence, said: “I don’t know why we haven’t been more upfront about it in the past, and I’m part of that crime, I think, and my prior capabilities. I didn’t, and I didn’t demand greater transparency regarding this matter.

Unexpectedly, even former President Barack Obama has discussed UAPs in detail for the first time in public.

But what is real – and I’m truly being serious here – is that there is film and records of objects in the sky that we don’t precisely know what they are, he claimed on the James Corden chat show that aired in May. We are unable to describe their trajectory or how they moved. They lacked a clearly discernible pattern.

The timing of these statements from such prominent figures suggests that, at long last, the world’s top scientists will take seriously the very real possibility that we have been seeing UFOs in action around our planet for decades and will, for the first time, conduct a thorough investigation.

This might have a significant impact on mankind.

It’s not like there aren’t many things to look into. Unaccounted-for “contacts” with hypothetical alien visitors to our planet are numerous and increasing. I will go into depth about some of the most amazing inexplicable experiences in the second part of my piece, which will be published tomorrow.
